Common Questions
A few of the things people ask us most. If your question isn’t here, send it through the form above.
Is Bakiif free to use?
Yes. The website and the app are free, and there are no ads anywhere — not in the Qurʾān reader, not in the articles and never in the Kids games.
How are prayer times calculated?
From your location, using an established calculation method. If you don’t share your location, the home page shows times for Mogadishu until you do.
Can I suggest a reciter, translation or feature?
Please do — use the form above. Many of the features on Bakiif started as a message from someone using it.
Is my child’s data safe in Bakiif Kids?
The Kids games need no account and collect no personal data. Stars and best scores are saved only on your own device. Read more on the parents’ section.
